News And Events

It's our 4th Year!

Welcome to the 4th volume of CyberAnt with this special edition featuring photos from one of CPE's many talented individuals. It's been an amazing 4 years that we've had with our magazine - trying to get computer engineers to write up something is a void type function by default. But we've really enjoyed it. Extensively because of the great feedback and support from all of CPE. We always enjoy the passers-by with a copy of our mag. The many thanks especially must go out to all our readers. What would we do without you guys.

Now for anyone out there who wants to show off their talent, here's your time to shine. CyberAnt is always looking for the fresh new editor, photographer, illustrator, graphics designer, layout artist, and most of all, contributor; but... we're not stopping at that, if you've got something to share, we're happy to show it. We're extremely open to the bold and experimental, so try us. You've got our email, here it is again: cyberantmagazine@gmail.com.

Beat the Censors

Censorship is the suppression of "unacceptable" information widely used by most governments. It is rather extreme in Thailand, known for its conservative laws and use of power to control media. Censorship can be found in print, broadcast, the internet, film, and even in convenient stores. Done in the interest of national security and public morality, even the adult public is treated as an immature child, whose government acts as big daddy, deciding what we should or should not view.

So be aware, grab CyberAnt's Censorship issue and beat the censors. We have an exclusive interview with Arthit Suriyawongkul, an information engineer helping FACT. And also an alternative view on Global Warming, Myth or Fiction?

It's up to you to find out in 2006's Second Semester edition of CyberAnt where the team is about to dig up some interesting solutions to the problem.

Spring into Online Gaming

Another fresh spring issue of CyberAnt, rounding up the talk of CPE this first semester can be picked up online here.

Sporting a fresh killer color look as usual, the theme this issue is Online Gaming, the new cutting edge way in entertainment, losing its players into a new kind of computer game imagination. This time it's not the computer that's thinking, but you're online with a thousand others communicating, playing, and obsessing, tuning each other's heartbeats to the same frequency.

Also in the issue is an article on the Hot and Controversial Thai Universities Ranking, the latest ranking that brings our KMUTT to the front-row of Thailand universities. Other up-to-date news on CPE inventions and competitions are inside, too.
